Product Information

These 2 pieces of resin terrain are a rough 40mm diameter and can therefore be used as bases. One represents cargo sunken in mud or sludge, the other is a large vehicle tyre and corrugated iron fragment. They can be used for 40mm bases, scenery in sewers or in muddy fields, as objective markers. These models are also available as part of the  junk combi-deal, which saves you 10% off the price of buying the individual items. There are multiple images that describe the items in detail.

"For a while, after the ‘Event’, it was easy to find supplies. Eventhough the State Authorities had mostly collapsed and there was no power, water or gas, many people survived on what was left in the warehouses. Fuel was still available from the Petrol Stations and tinned food was in abundance in the Supermarkets. However, three years on and one civil war later, supplies had run short. Local paramilitary organisations had taken charge of any readily available supplies were left and people outside of these organisations were forced out to the country or to scavenge in less accessible places. The sewers came to be one of these places. Different groups had used them to escape the ‘Event’ and the subsequent public disorder. Supplies had been stockpiled in a random fashion throughout the sewers. Not only supplies of fuel, water and food but other useful items such as tyres, barrels and cargo were all hidden away. The culverts which opened out into waste land or rivers were used as means of access. However, it was easy enough to drop down a manhole.

Some of the containers were metal, were heavy, and sank to rest on the bottom of the sewers. Their design was curious as if they weren’t from this Earth. Not that the material from which they were made was unusual. It still rusted and it could be damaged. The deep score marks were witness to this. However, they appeared not to have openings and were hermetically sealed. Rumour was that they contained alien artefacts or were themselves alien and had crashed down from the upper atmosphere to earth during the ‘Event’. Either way, it may be best to be in an armed group when opening them."
