Modern concrete or tarmac road 'T' junction

Product Code: TAR/T

This wargames terrain modular road section represents a worn tarmac or concrete road surface, 'T' junction. This model comes with two manhole covers, which are removable.

The concrete or tarmac surface is not completely smooth but has 'defects' to give that distressed, worn out look (see the photo). Unlike our modern reallity there are no pot holes (yet). This terrain model is one of the modular road scenery series which compliments the buildings and fit over the sewers; the width and length dimesions are the same.

During WW2 city sewers were used by both sides to move around the city without being seen. Particularly in Stalingrad. See the modular sewer terrain models. Not only will you have to watch the windows, doors and roofs but now the sewers and cellars as potential ambush sites. As well as suitable for recent modern historical battles this modular terrain model is suitable for near future and post-apocalypse skirmish wargames as well as Warhammer 40k wargames.

History has shown that fighting in built up areas (FIBUA) is one of the most demanding operational scenarios. The complex 3 dimensional terrain and close quarter nature of the combat makes it extremely costly for the attackers, which is hopefully reflected in your wargame rules. Conversely a small group of well prepared and determined defenders can resist a much larger attacking force. Our terrain and modular scenery buildings bring the challanges of fighting in built up areas to your wargame.

This model is 144mm long by 120mm wide approximatley.
